September Scorpion Season in Midland, Odessa, Andrews & Seminole
Updated: 6 days ago
Scorpion season is still on in West Texas
September heat and cooler nights keep scorpions moving around Midland, Odessa, Andrews, and Seminole. Tejas Pest and Weed Control (TejasPWC) is based in Andrews and treats the pests that actually show up in the Permian Basin — call or text 432-934-5248 or email office@tejaspwc.com.
Where we see them most
Garages, sheds, and clutter piles
Foundation edges, weep holes, and door thresholds
Yards with rock, wood stacks, and irrigated beds
After rain or irrigation when prey insects spike
Practical steps before you call
Shake out shoes and gloves left outside
Reduce harborages (boards, cardboard, dense clutter against the house)
Seal obvious gaps you can safely reach
Keep kids and pets away from any scorpion you find — do not crush with bare hands
How TejasPWC helps
We offer structure- and yard-focused pest control for scorpions and the other West Texas pests that ride with the season. Same local team also handles TDA-licensed weed control, lawn & ornamentals, termites/WDI, and tree treatments when you want one vendor.
