Bare-Ground Weed Control for Oilfield and Industrial Sites

Around Kermit a lot of weed control isn't about lawns at all. We handle:

  • Lease pads, tank batteries and well sites: bare-ground control to keep pads, tank areas, and equipment clear, easier to inspect, and free of dry fuel near equipment.

  • Gravel and caliche yards: pre-emergent plus post-emergent treatments for yards, laydown areas, parking, and storage lots, so gravel stays gravel.

  • Fence lines and perimeters: kochia, Russian thistle (tumbleweed), and grass that holds trash and blowing sand.

Sticker Burrs and Lawn Weeds in Sandy Kermit Yards

Sandbur (sticker burrs) and goatheads love the sandy soil and thin turf common in Kermit yards. The key treatment is a pre-emergent in late winter to early spring, before the seed sprouts. In fall we clean up what's left, spot-treat cool-season and winter weeds, and put the late-winter round on the calendar. In lawns we use lawn-safe products and keep bare-ground products away from turf, beds, and tree roots.

Pest Control in Kermit

We treat for scorpions, spiders, ants (including fire ants), roaches, rodents, and mosquitoes, for homes, shops, offices, and field buildings. Scorpions and spiders like the rock, stacked pipe, and stored equipment found around many Kermit properties, so we treat where they actually hide, not just the front door.

Termites and Older Homes

Subterranean termites are active across West Texas. Older homes and outbuildings with wood near the soil, leaky plumbing, or wood-to-ground contact are at higher risk. Watch for mud tubes, swarmers or shed wings after a warm rain, and soft or hollow-sounding trim. We offer termite inspections (WDI reports), pre-treatments, and active treatment options. See Termites.

Tree Treatments

Shade trees in sandy, dry ground get stressed fast. We offer tree treatments for borers, mites, disease, fungus, and nutrient problems, including trunk, soil, foliar, and systemic applications. See Tree Services.
